The base can be equipped with ballast, consisting of stainless steel micropellets that 'fill' the empty areas of the base.

The base for 80-90 cm tops does not require ballast
The version for 100 cm tops is supplied with 9 kg of ballast
The version for 105/107 cm tops is supplied with 18 kg of ballast
The version for 120 cm tops is supplied with 27 kg of ballast
